KENYA : Usiu and KPA Confirmed for Next Month's Tunisia Tour

UNITED States International University and Kenya Ports Authority will travel to Tunisia next month for the women's FIBA Africa Club Championships.
Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) secretary Vitalis Gode, yesterday confirmed the two teams have been entered for the continental show. He, however, said the exact dates for the championships will be released soon.
"It has been confirmed by FIBA Africa that the championship will be held in Tunisia. The dates are yet to be announced," said Gode, who is also the regional secretary. He urged the teams to start training considering they will be up against some of the Africa top teams led by reigning champions Inter Club of Angola.
USIU and KPA battled in the FIBA Africa Zone 5 show last August in Mombasa as the students emerged victorious 63-28 in the finals played at Makande Welfare hall. It will be the second time in a row that the students, who are yet to lose a game in the women's Premier League, will represent the country in the prestigious continental showcase.
Last year, they were in Mekness, Morocco with compatriots Eagle Wings who bagged the bronze medal. USIU were placed fifth.
