KENYA : KPA Romp Into National Basketball Play-Off Final

FORMER national champions Kenya Ports Authority romped into the national play off finals when they beat Sprite Storms 45-34 at the Makande Welfare hall in Mombasa.
The porters, who took the best of five series 3-0, now await the winners of the other semi between champions Eagle Wings and United States International (USIU).
Storms put up a brave fight and had nine points from former national player Angela Luchivya. KPA had 14 points each from Brenda Angechi and Yvonne Akinyi.
At the Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium, United States International University (USIU) beat reigning champions Eagle Wings 60-51 to take a 2-1 series lead.
The "Flames" now lead the series 2-1 and will dethrone the champions with a win in Game Four. Hilda Indasi nailed 14 points and Sarah Chan added 12 for USIU who trailed 25-26 at the breather. Co-op Bank hit Safe Spaces 87-65. Strathmore University nipped Nairobi Aviation 48-47, Umoja beat Zetech College 70-54 and Trailblazers lost 58-65 to Litte Prince.
