In Summary
Against Ndejje tonight, Falcons will confront the reigning regular season Most Valuable Player (MVP) and top scorer Geoffrey Soro plus his side-kick, guard Jonah Otim.

Wednesday night was an easy walk in the park for Falcons, restricting Charging Rhino to 16 points in the first half, coasting to a 89-53 victory in their Airtel National Basketball League opener.
They spread the floor brilliantly much to the satisfaction of head coach Tony Oluka in the YMCA court dugout despite Rhino doing so many fancy things to deliver thrill for the handful of fans. Peter Elungat scored 30 points and 12 rebounds, Steven Mwesigye had 19 points and 18 rebounds, Geoff Omondi added 14 and 10 whereas Stephen Omony contributed 16 points and seven boards.
Falcons had only seven players having lost almost all their bench players and still await the return of center Philip Ameny and guard Abdullahi Ramadhan. There also seemed to be no ill-effects from the launch of the Falcons’ fans club the previous night where club chairman Dennis Mbidde introduced his players as “the best in their positions.” Oluka will know they must raise the ante against Ndejje University Angels in a repeat of last year’s quarterfinal playoffs which Falcons swept 3-0 at the Lugogo tonight. Ndejje coach Walker Obedi has also added two former Falcons in Brian Ssentogo and Francis Tumusiime to his roster
