RWANDA : APR women hoops aim for unbeaten record

APR women basketball club is seeking to finish the Playoffs tournament unbeaten as they prepare to face Ubumwe club in Game Three on Friday at Amahoro Indoor court.
APR basketball club coach Charles Mbazumutima said, “We are targeting a win against Ubumwe in our third game. It will be a difficult game but considering our recent performances, we believe we can do better and finish in a superb way,”
Both APR and Ubumwe women basketball clubs have recorded a victory against each other. APR won the first game 54-41 before Ubumwe reiterated with a 58-47 win in the second game.
However his counterpart Jack Bahige said that Ubumwe can’t afford to lose the decisive game. “We want the title and this is why we have trained rigorously and we are ready for the contest,”
“A win is good to keep us in contention for the title,” added Bahige.
The winner of the best three Playoffs Game between APR and Ubumwe will walk away with the Play-offs title.

Espoir won the Playoffs title in the men’s category last week after beating APR in three consecutive games to finish the season unbeaten.
