KCB Lions are in firm grip of the KBF Premier League table standings with 39 points after 20 matches having experienced a single defeat courtesy of arch rivals and fellow bankers Co-op Bank who beat.
After a convincing 44-35 win over Strathmore last Saturday Morris Shistama’s charges remain the team to beat as the league stretches towards the play offs.
Co-op Bank follows in second place 4 points adrift after suffering a shock loss to KPA 2 weeks ago at the Nyayo gymnasium, they however managed to bounce back after a 68-37 drubbing of Blazers on Sunday.
In the women’s category Hilda Indasi’s USIU Flames still maintain the summit of the log with 36 points followed by Co-op Bank’s Kingdom Queens with 30 points. 2011 Defending Champions Eagle Wings are 3rd with a far 28 points but have only played 15 matches compared to Flames (19) and Co-op Bank (18).
