SEYCHELLES : Angels stop losing skid with century win

A century win against Razors has helped Angels stop a two-game losing skid.

On Wednesday at Victoria Gymnasium, Angels followed the century trend set by defending champions PLS Hawks and Baya as they collected a 113-64 victory against Razors.
The Anse Boileau-based team now boast an even win-lose record of 7-7, bringing their points tally to 21, the same as Premium Cobras who have three games in hand on them and two on the top three teams – PLS Hawks (25 points for 12 wins and a loss), Baya (24 points for 11 wins and two losses) and MBU Rockers (22 points for nine wins and four losses).

Angels had lost their previous two matches, against RC Dynamics (73-77) and Baya (87-116).
As for Razors, they have temporarily left the foot of the 10-team table as they have 14 points after 13 matches played compared to Beau Vallon Heat’s 13 after 12 outings. The Heat’s match on Praslin against Praslin Warriors was postponed last Saturday because of bad weather.
In the Men’s Division Two, AAP Brothers are in the driver’s seat after beating RA Rockets 66-47 on Tuesday at Victoria Gymnasium.
They have 26 points after collecting their 12th win in 14 games played. Mont Fleuri Dawgz can return to the top when they play the RA Rockets today at 5.15pm at Victoria Gymnasium.
Like the Dawgz, Anse Etoile can also move on to 27 points if they beat Cadets tomorrow.
