UGANDA : KIU Crushes Sadolin Power

KAMPALA International University continued their imperious run in the basketball league with a 72-55 win over Sadolin Power.
KIU, who were coming off a 67-64 opening victory over Mogas Falcons last Wednesday, looked more like kings of the mountain as they fuelled a fourth quarter run limiting Power to only eight points whilst scoring 21.

With Markmot Orom, Emma Baguma and Jeff Mwaniki doing the heavy lifting as usual, Isaac Afidra put the game out of Power's reach with a flurry of rebounds and free throws at the YMCA on Saturday.
Sadolin Power, who got 10 points from Richard Balemwa and eight points from Wilbrod Oketcho, never recovered after the third quarter to register their first season loss.
Elsewhere, skipper Henry Malinga's two free throws in the final thirty seconds gave Falcons a deserved 66-64 victory over Miracle.
Warriors doomed Charging Rhinos to a second consecutive 64-41 loss in the men's division one games.
The women's action saw KCC Leopards pick up a second successive victory (83-41) over Nabisunsa as Uganda Christian University defeated Victoria Lakers 41-21.
Oketcho stopped at eight
