Basketball in Africa

Kenyan international player based in Oman , David Abdul Mugoye has been named the Best Post Player in the 2005-2006 Oman League. Mugoye, who plays for Club Nizwa in Oman , received the award upon arrival in Oman after a long break in Kenya .

Mugoye together with his Nizwa team-mate and fellow Kenya- Patrick Odhiambo, were in the country for the off-season break. They took time to participate in numerous basketball activities; basketball camps and clinics (JaMalaria), tournaments, international friendly games against Rwanda and advocacy and campaigns.
