Basketball in Africa

A Botswana Defence Force (BDF) basketball team arrives in the country to play a series of friendly matches against some local teams over this coming long weekend.

Zambia Basketball Association (ZBA) general secretary Mwembe Kaona said yesterday that BDF would start their tour with a fixture against Newspaper Direct Heroes this Friday before playing three matches on Saturday.

In the morning, BDF will play against Zambia National Service side Green Eagles followed by another match against Copperbelt side Hetro Bullets in the afternoon.

The visitors will end the day with a match against Zambia Army side Green Buffaloes in the evening.
