Peter Elungat maintained his leading role for Livingstone in their 49-30 win over stubborn Najja High in an MTN League game played on Saturday at Nakasero Primary School.

The small forward's 20 points together with Simon Otine's 12 were enough to give the Makerere University side maximum points in a low scoring Yello Max game.
Despite the win, Livingstone remained mired in the relegation zone with 9 points from 8 games while Najja are bottom.

Elsewhere, Ramathan Busulwa saved Lubiri High from defeat with a last second basket for a tight 54-52 win over Family Planning Association of Uganda (FPAU) while Trevor Ogwang made a game high 25 points as KCC Lions maintained their unbeaten run with a 79-54 win over Kabojja SS.

In the women's category, Judith Nansobya and Hadijja Shaban made 12 and 11 points respectively in Amazon's 51-40 win over Crane High. Hellen Nakijjo's 19 points could not save the Kitintale side from a third consecutive loss.
